Engineering Department

JCWSA’s Engineering Department is recognized across Georgia for its depth of expertise, professionalism, and leadership in the water and sewer industry. Uniquely equipped with three licensed Professional Engineers (PEs), a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), and several top-level certified water and sewer operators, this department brings an unmatched level of in-house capability. Our engineering team delivers projects efficiently and effectively from project inception to completion. Over the past decade, they have designed tens of millions of dollars in infrastructure improvements and continue to set the standard for excellence. In 2024, the department, along with JCWSA’s Finance, Water, and Wastewater teams, was honored with the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) Master Plan Spotlight Award for our comprehensive water and sewer master plans. Frequently invited to speak at conferences, serve on planning committees, and contribute to state and regional water organizations, our engineering team plays an active role in both GAWP and the American Waterworks Association (AWWA), helping to shape the future of utility management in Georgia.
